Skills Training
Our course consists of the following areas, topics, and disciplines, starting at the fundamental basics and progressing towards more advanced and extreme practices. They are broken down into courses and activities. Although all skills learned through these courses and activities can be used and applied practically, the purpose and focus of it all is to use it as a safe platform/medium, to develop character, identity, purpose, and to use it as a vessel to teach essential life lessons, principles, and disciplines Every aspect of the course is thoughtfully and intricately formulated to achieve this objective.
Field Craft
Field craft is the skill to survive and even thrive in outdoor and harsh environments with little to no amount of food, water, and supplies.
Students will be thoroughly educated on how and where to find safe and reliable food and water sources, to build shelter, the do’s and don’ts when confronted by dangerous wildlife, and finally finding civilization and aid if isolated.
They will also learn to administer themselves in daring and cruel environments in order to prolong their survivability. For more advanced Field Craft practices Students will be taught the principles of camouflage and concealment and what to look for when finding concealed items or people in nature.
Navigation
Our Navigation training will cover everything from the basic principles of map reading, route planning and using a compass (including alternative means and methods to find North). Students will be taught to precisely plot their location on a map using resection, plot their destination and find the best and safest routes to get there without using GPS devices.
Furthermore, applying these skills to practical navigational exercises where they will navigate to various waypoints during daytime (with good visibility), and even in complete darkness with poor or no visibility.
Weapon Handling
With this aspect of training, we teach or students weapon safety and drills using carefully selected paintball guns that looks, feels and operates in the exact way a real assault rifle or weapon would. This enables our students to have an authentic weapon handling experience without the risk of serious injury or death.
Throughout the course they will be issued a rifle and be taught to take full responsibility of that weapon, to dismantle, clean, maintain and service it, and ultimately to teach them have respect for any form of weapon they might handle as their lives progress.
Tactics
This part of training is fundamental to the character and skills development of our students. Our tactical training aspects are designed to promote and instill teamwork, planning, communication skills, rapid decision making and finding structure within chaos.
Using military standard techniques, students will be taught to plan and execute tasks under immense pressure and simulated risk. They will learn to work as one body and understand the importance of each role and function within it. More importantly they will learn to trust and fully rely upon each other in times of distress and work together to ensure each other’s safety and wellbeing.
